Bamboo
The great thing about Bamboo textiles is that they wick away moisture and they won't harbor bacteria, which means you have fresher smelling, cleaner feeling clothing.
- Bamboo fiber is softer than cotton, with a texture similar to a blend of cashmere and silk.
- The moisture absorbency is twice that of cotton, with extraordinary soil release value.
- Bamboo fiber contains anti-bacterial properties, eliminating odor naturally.
The colors, look, and feel of bamboo clothing are so beautiful. Bamboo textiles are durable and don't pill as easily as synthetics. These bamboo shirts are made with eco-conscious organic cotton, and low impact dyes. Bamboo is easy to grow and biodegradable as well as long-lasting, so even when the shirt is retired it is still healthy for the environment!
Bamboo has excellent ventilation; "it breathes". That means it won't stick to your skin even on hot summer days, which leaves you feeling cleaner and cooler. The truth is you ARE cleaner because the antibacterial properties of bamboo keep bacteria and odors out of your clothes, so you smell fresh, and feel dry.
You will be amazed at the softness and comfort of bamboo clothing. The T-shirts are made of 70% bamboo and 30% certified organic cotton. The women's tank tops are 97% bamboo and 3% lycra, the spaghetti strap women's tops are 95% bamboo 5% lycra, and the scoop neck short sleeve women's T-shirts are 100% bamboo. The fit is stretchy but not tight, as the fabric gently caresses the body. Once you have worn a bamboo fiber shirt you will want to wear bamboo all of the time. It is that comfortable!
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is an eco-friendly alternative to regular cotton.
Low Impact Dyes
Low impact dyes use fewer harsh chemicals then typical dyes, and are easier on sensitive skin.
Care instructions
- The unisex T-shirts run a little large and are sized for men, so if you usually buy medium you may prefer small if you like a fitted shirt.
- Your Bamboo Textile shirts can be washed just like any other cotton shirt you have in your wardrobe. To preserve color, use warm or cold water, not hot, and no chlorine bleach.
